[BAKING] Homemade Cauliflower Crust Mushroom Pizza

People getting more health conscious nowadays. Salad shops, yogurt shops etc are sprouting out almost everywhere in the City.

In the US, people has started replacing their carbohydrates with faux carbohydrates. Cauliflower rice is the perfect introduction to grain alternatives.

Cauliflower has an impressive array of nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other phytochemicals. It is an excellent source of Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B1, Folate, Pantothenic acid, Dietary fiber,Omega-3 fatty acids and Protein.

Most importantly, a cup of cauliflower is only 35 calories while a cup of white rice is 200 calories.

I decided to use cauliflower rice to replace flour for my pizza crust which turn out super delicious.

Having vegetarian or vegan food is not a foreign things to me as my parents are vegetarian. Since young, I had always hope to have vegetarian fast food. Veganburg have make my dream come true. 

Veganburg is the first vegan fast food chain in Singapore. Instead of have junk food, Veganburg provide a healthy, nutritious and wholesome fast food for the whole family.

Seaweed Fries

 In Veganburg, their fries are salt-free. The fries was lighting coated with seaweed. However, I cant really taste the seaweed. I believe that they replace the salt that was commonly use in seasoning the fries with the natural light saltiness of the seaweed, The fries was well-fried.The outer coating was crispy and the inner was soft.  

Handmade Spinach Pop 

Their spinach pop was handmade with love daily. The spinach pop will be a great finger food for kids. The potato and spinach was a great combination. The handmade spinach pop came with satay sauce. The satay sauce was fragrant, however I feel that it overpower the natural taste of the spinach pop. I prefer the spinach pop without the dip.

Vegan Frank 

I believe everyone know of mock meat. Mock meat is usually soya-based or gulten-based. Veganburg had created their own mock hot dog using toufu. I had been eating alot of different mock hotdog before. I can say Veganburg serve the best mock hotdog. I love the soft toufu taste. 

Smoky BBQ 

The smoky BBQ was combination of thick mince mushroom patty with smokey BBQ with layers of fresh lettuce, tomato, onion and alfafa. 


 Hawaiian Teriyaki

The Hawaiian Teriyaki is high in Vitamin C and Potassium. It was a combination of pineapple and soya patty. 


Satay Char-Grilled 

 The satay char-grilled was special. The Satay sauce goes very well with the vegan patty as it adds more flavor to the patty.

Limited Edition Chilli Krabby 

Spongebob Krabby burger is now available in Verganburg now! This is one of my favorite burger. I love the spiciness of the patty.  

Cracked Pepper Mayo

 The cracked pepper mayo is one of their best-seller. The pepperish mayonnaise goes well with the vegan patty. It lifted the taste of the burger.  

 Creamy Shroom 

Shroomilicious. I love the creamy shroom the best. Their dairy-free cream go well with the button mushrooms and the vegan patty. The vegan patty was crispy. 

Vegan Chocolate Cake

Even though, the chocolate cake does not contain egg and milk, it tasted yummy too. I love the marshmallow on top which is not very sweet.

Annalakshmi Restaurant : Indian Vegetarian ~❤

I am not sure have anyone heard of Annalaskshmi. Thanks Annalakshmi for the food tasting event. This is not the first time i dine in Annalaskshmi. This is the third time I dine there. I been to Annalakshmi when it is located at Chinatown point. They had relocated to Havelock Rd. I was introduce to Annalakshmi by a Indian ex-colleague.

Please do not get scared away from this big heavy door which is always close. They are actually open if you come during opening hours.

Annalaskshmi observes a Swayamvara concept, where guest of the restaurant pay as you wish for the food consumed. It is the philosophies of Swami Shantananda Saraswati. The food that is serve in the restaurant is prepared by volunteers.

Mango Lassi

Lassi is a popular, traditional, yougurt-based drink, it originated in India’s Punjab region. Lassi is a blend of yogurt,water and spices or fruits. I like the Mango Lassi as it very rich.

Masala Dosai

The Masala Dosai was thin and crispy fully packed with the potatoes filling. They were very generous with their serving, it was huge for me. The potato dosai is accompanied by 3 different dipped sauce. The orange color dip was Spicy tomato chutney. You able to see small chucks of tomatoes inside. The green color dip was coconut chutney. Personally, I prefer to have the dosai with the curry sauce. The Spicy tomato chutney goes well with the dosai too.

 Khum Masala (Mushroom), Paneer Palak and Garlic Nann

This three dishes were recommended by the boss of the restaurant. Do take know that, the serving you see in the pictures were reduced. I am not sure how generous are they with the normal serving.

The Khum Masala was fried mushroom served in a onion based gravy. I does not really like the taste of the onion. Even thought the gravy is onion based but it does not have the very strong onion taste which i dont like. I am not very sure do the added tomato into the gravy but it had the very nice touch of sweetness.

The Paneer Palak was cottage cheese with mildly spiced spinach. I love the Panner palak. It tasted like spinach soup but a much thicker version. I did not expect that the cottage cheese will be served in little cubes. It simply just melt in you mouth.

The Garlic Nann goes perfectly well with both dishes.

Coming to the buffet line ..

Previously when I dined in Annalakshmi, the buffet spread was good. It ranged from birynai, curries, dhal and sweets.

According to the boss, coming up next on my blog, it their Wednesday Special.

The soup had a hinge of spicyness. I am not used to the taste of it.

Fried Bee hoon and Fried vegetable with flour

I does not know what is the actual name of this dish. It is like a very thin crepes made by rice flour I think. The rice crepes can be eaten with four different sauces.

Sugar and coconut milk

If you are having a sweet tooth, you can have the crepes in sugar and coconut. To me, the sweetness make it like dessert.

If you like more savoy sides, you can have the rice crepes in vegetables cooked in yogurt or curry.

[Cooking] Vegetarian Korean Bibimbap

Korean food had always be my favorite food. I never fails to fall in love with the rich flavors of the food. Bibimbap is one of many favorite dishes.


Bibimbap is a signature Korean dish , which mean ” mixed meal ” or ” mixed rice”. Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm rice topped with rain bow vegetables and gochujang. Egg and meat is also added to the dish, to give it a more balance diet and a richer feel.


The Rainbow colors of the dish will already make you drool.


Personally , I prefer “Dolsot Bibimbap”. ” Dolsot Bibimbap ” is served in a hot stone bowl.  Before the rice is places in the bowl, the bottom of the bowl is coated with sesame oil, making the layer of rice touching the bowl golden brown and crisp.


However , in my family only me and my dearest boyfriend enjoy Korean food. Therefore, i didn’t went to buy the stone pot ! I think i shall purchase it soon !


Since is our favorite food. I decided to cook my own bibimbap for me and my boyfriend. I did a bit of addition into the recipe. You will be able original recipe at THE KITCHN.


Here my only version. You will realise in the picture the quantity of the ingredient is different from my reciepe. I made extra ingredient for my family.
